Finally, after 5 years of never getting sick, I finally caught a cold...

More trailer stuff
Went to BearTrailersports.com to return the other leaf spring that I did not need and also picked up a few replacement parts that were damaged.
I just wanted to let everyone know that they are great to work with and if anyone needs replacement parts for their trailer, I would highly recommend them.
When you go to their website, you must go to their gallery and check out their custom work....

Word to the wise
I like to consider myself a cautious driver, especially when it comes to towing. I usually have enough spares to fix anything on the road. What I never would have expected was to break a leaf spring on the trailer.
It happened on the way home from our event on Sunday.
With the help of Robert, I purchased a new leaf spring, replaced it and went on my merry way...

My favorite radio station is officially dead....
They decided to replace the talk radio show with "pop" music.... What does this have to do with drifting? A lot actually. Most of my time I spent driving going to meetings throughout the week was a lot more pleasant when I listened to Frosty, Heidi and Frank... Now that the station has been reformatted, not sure if I can bare the long hours in traffic.....

inspiring j30
Some of you may know that I have wanting an Infiniti j30 for some time now. I was browsing various websites when I found this photo of someone who has already lowered his J30 and put some wheels on it.. The car looks pretty good.
Some of parts he put on were:
s14 LCA's
S14 spindles
s13 front shocks with spindle holes drilled and using the stock j30 tophats.
s13 rear shocks with j30 tophats
s13 tein springs
FN01RC 17x10 +12 all the way around.

Close up view of cracked body
I have had some problems with this particular 101 car. I had to weld a crack that started on the other side of the car. I believe a lot of this has to do with the being in a couple of front end accidents. When I bought the car, the seller said the car was straight... Yea right.....
A closer shows how bad the crack is....

Drifting with Speedventures=Bullsh*t
Seriously, I had my experience with what they call Drifting with Speedventures. Go suck a big one and please stop advertising "Drifting" with your events.
For some odd reason it seems like everyone thinks they can simply host a drift event. Speedventures was the worst because they did not even make an effort to "host".
Please go away and stop ruining the industry that I helped create.

Taka Cressida wagon
Who says station wagons can't be cool? Taka Aono's MX72 Toyota Cressida station wagon is definitely proof that even station wagons have "cool car potential" if they're done up right. Here's the side view of Taka's street driven MX72 Cressida. It is painted 350Z blue metallic, with gold pearl, thanks to US Earth Custom Coach, a body shop in Torrance CA that specializes in custom paint and modified cars. Notice the stance from the side? This isn't your mom's station...
